CBSE Result 2018: The Central Board Of Secondary Education usually conducts the Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams in the month of March & April. This year, after a long wait CBSE released Class 10 & Class 12 Date Sheets on January 10. CBSE Class 10 Exams are currently underway which commenced on 5th March and will come to an end on 4th April 2018. Similarly, CBSE Class 12 Exams have begun on 5th March and will get over on 13th April 2018. Students can check detailed CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Date Sheet for the academic year 2017-18 below.

CBSE Board Exam Statistics 2018

This year, 28.24 lakh students have registered for CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams. Out of these, 16.38 lakh students will appear for Class 10 Board Exams and 11.86 lakh students will take Class 12 Board Exams. CBSE Class X Board Exam is going to be conducted at 4,453 exam centers & CBSE Class XII Board Exam is going to be conducted at 4,138 centers. Also, a total of 149 exam centers are allocated outside the country. Out of these, 78 are allocated for Class 10th Exams and 71 for Class 12th Exams.

How To Check CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Results 2018

Students appearing for Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams can check their results by visiting the Official Board Website – or

  3. Enter Roll Number & Other Information.
  4. Click on Submit to get your CBSE 10th Result 2018 / CBSE 12th Result 2018.
  5. Download PDF & Print your CBSE Result 2018.

Also, students can check their CBSE Results via IVR, SMS and Digi Locker:

  • IVR: Students can check their Class 10 & Class 12 results via call (IVR system). The charges are 30p per minute per roll number.
  • SMS: Students can also get their results via SMS which is charged 50p per SMS
  • Digi Locker: CBSE students will get the account details on their mobile numbers. You can simply get your CBSE Results in your Digi Locker.

CBSE Previous Year Exam Result Statistics

Last year, almost 27 lakh students appeared for Class 10 and Class 12 Exams across the country. Out of these, 16,68,427 had appeared for Class 10th Exams. The rest 10,98,981 appeared for Class 12th board Exams. In 2017, the CBSE Class 10th exams were conducted from 9th March to 3rd April 2018 and Class 12th exams were conducted from 9th March to 29th April 2017. There were about 3,974 centers for the Class 10th examination and 3,503 centers for the Class 12th examination.

CBSE had released the admit cards in the month of February. Students should also make a note that they won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit cards. Admit card contains all the important information about the student such as – Roll Number, Centre Number, Examination Dates, Exam time & other important instructions. Recently, CBSE also published a strong advisory regarding CBSE Admit Cards which mentioned that CBSE Schools cannot withhold the Student Admit Card for any reason. Different reasons may include – poor academic performance, unpaid fees etc.

This year, students appearing for Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams will also have an access to Observation System which will allow them to send comments or give feedback about the question paper within 24 hours of having given the exam. CBSE for the first time has allowed for concessions and facilities which include allowing the use of computers for disabled students and those with special needs. Relaxation in attendance up to 50% for a student with special needs.

CBSE Board Result 2018 – Past 4 Years Declaration Pattern

CBSE usually declares CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Results in the month of May 2018. In 2017, the results were delayed compared to the previous years. Class 10th result was declared on 28th May while the Class 12th result was declared on 3rd June.
